TICKETS CASHIER
Windham Mountain Resort
Overview of Position: Ticket Cashiers are front line employees who are responsible for the completing sales of lift tickets and redemption of lift vouchers. Ticket Cashiers must interact with guests to determine their needs and efficiently and accurately complete the sale or redemption of those products.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
+ Greet guests and answer questions.
+ Work efficiently with the ticketing system to sell product.
+ Accurately operate the register assigned to you for the day.
+ Review, explain and redeem vouchers and coupons. Explain restrictions to guests when necessary.
+ Accurately, neatly, and expediently complete cashier reports summarizing and accounting for daily revenues versus reported sales.
+ Effectively communicate in a cheerful, knowledgeable, and professional manner with staff and guests.
+ Maintain a clean and neat work area.
Job Qualifications:
+ Ability to interact with both guests and staff in a friendly and helpful manner.
+ Must be able to handle a stressful, noisy and crowded situation.
+ Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
+ Must be reliable, open minded about improving operations and willing to learn.
+ Must have accurate mathematical skills and be able to count currency.
+ Must be able to efficiently and accurately operate a cash register.
Work Schedule and Conditions: We are in the business of providing a premier product and guest experience. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holiday periods which you will be expected to work. You can also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holiday periods.
