The Tie Back Driller (Casing Driller) is an essential member of the frontline team and will be responsible for drilling holes, monitoring their condition, and leading crews in the operation and care of drilling equipment. As a Driller, you will play a crucial role in achieving company goals, ensuring respect for company property, and maintaining a high standard of reliability, punctuality, and work ethic. This position requires working outdoors year-round—sometimes in extreme conditions—and strenuous physical labor.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for essential maintenance tasks, including greasing, to ensure optimal functionality of drilling equipment.Demonstrate strong communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration within the team and communicate maintenance requirements.Utilize extensive knowledge of drill upkeep and preventive maintenance procedures to enhance equipment longevity and ensure equipment cleanliness.Ability to fill out precise drill logs and maintain accurate as-builts for comprehensive project documentation.Maintain regular communication and interaction with Superintendents to provide updates and address any concerns.Ability to work in loud environments and maintain all required safety PPE. Basic Qualifications:
3-5 years of geotechnical experienceValid Driver’s License Ability to hit daily production targetsAbility to read and interpret blueprintsAbility to travel extensively as required - up to three weeks on duty at a timeProficiency in welding Ability to lift up to 50lbs and engage in strenuous physical laborPossess vast knowledge of different types of tooling and drilling techniquesAbility to obtain DOT Medical Card
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid CDL is preferredManagerial experience is preferred

Climates vary in degrees, in tropical to desert environments.The noise level in the work environment is moderate and hearing protection is often required. Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.Heavy lifting (50lbs+) of construction materials on the job site.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Travel: 100% travelling. Employees are expected to work a 3 weeks on, 1 week off schedule.
Compensation: $28 - $35 per hour
