Level 3 Network & PC Support Technician
Location: Newnan, GA (Southside/Southwest Atlanta area preferred; some remote work available)
Overview:
An established IT solutions provider in the southern Atlanta region is seeking an experienced Level 3 Network & PC Support Technician. This role is essential for managing and supporting the IT needs of various business office clients. The ideal candidate will have strong Tier 2/3 technical support skills with a focus on networking and a desire for long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Resolve Tier 2/3 technical issues for clients. Travel to client sites (primarily in the southwest Atlanta area) 20% of the time; remote resolution of issues for the remaining 80%. Provide comprehensive support in systems administration, networking, and firewall management.Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in hardware and software support, including troubleshooting third-party hardware and software. Networking Skills: Proficient in TCP/IP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and OSI model. Experience with VPN infrastructure design and administration. Systems Administration: Expertise in Microsoft Windows (Vista/7/8/8.1/10) and Microsoft Office Products. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix Xen). Certifications: CCNA or CompTIA certification preferred. A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications are desirable but not required if relevant work experience is demonstrated. Additional Skills: Knowledge of DNS troubleshooting, wireless network configuration, printer setup and configuration, enterprise antivirus software, and centralized mobile device management.Vision of Success:
90 Days: Fully acclimated and operational. 180 Days: Independent in managing client environments and resolving issues. 1 Year: Fully integrated and contributing as a valuable team member.
