TIG Welder | $19.00 – $20.00 per hour | Manufacturing Environment What Matters Most: Pay:  $19.00 – $20.00 per hour 1st Shift:  6:00am – 2:30pm Thursday – SundayLocation:  South Charlotte (28273)Weekly payResponsibilities: Responsible for ensuring and maintaining high material integrity of iridium items used in crystal growth manufacturingBlacksmithing activities, including cleaning, reshaping, welding, repair, inspection, and overall maintenance of precious metal items of various sizes, mostly crucibles and lidsMaintain complete and accurate records of all processes related to crucible repair and maintenanceMaintain tools, equipment, and supplies necessary to keep the welding area safe, clean, orderly, and efficient. Welding activities are mostly GTAW/TIGOther duties may include copper brazing and aluminum weldingQualifications and Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDWelding Certification (AWS, ASME, or equivalent) preferred3-5 years of TIG welding experience preferredExperience brazing copper and welding non-ferrous metals such as gold, aluminum, and iridiumExperience with Hydrogen, oxy-acetylene torches, sandblasting, and pneumatic equipmentMust be able to lift 50 poundsMust have computer experience and work effectively with spreadsheetsStrong work ethicYour New Organization:  This is an industry leader in the manufacture of solid state later materials and components.  They are a “one stop shop” with diverse skills and capabilities from the crystal growth, fabrication, thin film deposition, inspection, and packaging.
