**Job Title: TIG Welder** **Job Description** A TIG Welder is responsible for tacking, welding, and assembling material for industrial parts according to drawing specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Safely operating in all areas is mandatory. Other duties may be assigned. **Hard Skills** + 2-5 years of experience + Ability to work safely and follow all rules + Set up TIG, MIG, & Stick welding machines based on the job requirements + Read drawings to determine specific welding requirements + Layout & weld heavy metal by blueprint from start to finish + Ability to operate fabrication machines such as plasma tables, press brakes, CNC punches, rollers, grinders, and drill presses **Soft Skills** + Great attention to detail + Ability to support team members to maximize productivity and efficiency + Ability to assemble items as instructed by the shop foreman + Ability to prepare products for shipment **Job Type** This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Reidsville, North Carolina. **Work Environment** The work environment is non-climate controlled with older machines. It can be dirty, and requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment, engineering controls, defined procedures, and specialized training to reduce hazard exposure risks.
