**TIG Welder** **Company Description:** We are a Defense/Aerospace parts manufacturing and processing facility. Our specialties include the production of sheet metal and machined parts, value-added kits for our customers, and assemblies. We are accredited by Nadcap for Chemical Processing, Aluminum Heat Treating, Prime and Topcoat Painting, and Resistance and Fusion Welding. **Location:** Fort Worth, TX 76140 **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team. Our company supplies precision CNC machined and fabricated metallic components, as well as complex small to medium-sized sub-assemblies, to the aerospace and defense industries. **Key Responsibilities:** · Perform a variety of approved welding techniques to required tolerances per engineering specifications. · Read, interpret, and understand product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements. · Utilize employee self-service systems to access online information and use specialized automated systems. · Weld components from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and written specifications. **Qualifications:** · Six (6) years of verifiable welding experience, including TIG welding for thin aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium. · CWI certification from the American Welding Society (AWS) is a plus. Candidates without certification will be certified in-house but will receive a lower initial pay rate. · Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). · Effective verbal and written communication skills. **Shift and Pay:** · 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Thursday (Friday OT as needed, usually 6:00AM - 12:00PM) · Pay: $20-$36/hr (Depending on experience) · Must be willing to work overtime when required. **Position Requirements:** · TIG welding experience (6+ years). · Experience with basic hand/power tools. · Ability to certify in areas once hired, with pay increases per certification. · Experience with blueprints/schematics. · Mechanical aptitude. · Experience welding on aviation assemblies. · Must have steel-toed boots. · Performance Expectations: · Fast-paced, proactive, and able to learn quickly. · Ability to maintain high quality with expedited assemblies. · Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team. **Company Benefits:** · Full benefits package including 401K match, dental, medical, and vision. · Climate-controlled work environment. · Opportunity for overtime. · Direct placement · Many opportunities for growth within this department or others.
