**TIG Welder - Grand Rapids, MI** **_Job Description_** Seeking a skilled TIG welder to assist with production in fast-paced environment. This welder will be responsible for welding stainless steel and carbon steel material to manufacture parts for various industries. **_Responsibilities_** + Perform TIG welding on Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel seats. + Execute welds on T joints, 1 to 2 inches long, including Fillet, Flat Group, and Horizontal welds. + Perform minimal Short Arc transfer and MIG welding. + Follow blueprints to TIG and MIG weld seats together in your own welding booth. + Get work order kit and follow blueprint directions. + Utilize a welding machine for both MIG and TIG welding. **_Qualifications:_** + 1-3 years of TIG welding experience. + Proficiency in blueprint reading. + Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions. + Possession of own welding equipment (gloves, sleeves, weld hood, eye protection). **_Shift and Pay:_** + 1st shift: 6:00am - 3:00pm + $20.00 - $24.00 per hour **_Benefits:_** + Direct Hire Opportunity + Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance + Competitive Pay + Company Growth and Stability **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
