URGENTLY Hiring a 2nd Shift TIG Welder for a Leading Manufacturer

Second Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM. Break/Lunch: 30-minute lunch plus two 15-minute breaks determined by the manager.

Pay: $20 - $30 per hour

Location: Kearny, NJ

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to complete welding of pre-fabricated assemblies and fabricate complex assemblies from blueprints. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness, visually inspect completed welds for size and quality, and operate within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System.

Union: IBEW Local Union 3 with a 45-day probationary period.

Benefits: Refer to the IBEW Local 3 Union Contract for all details on benefits. Medical/Dental/Vision/HRA/Annuity – 6 months from the date of hire.

Vacation Time – begins June 30th after 6 months of continuous employment. Sick Time – begins after 1 year of continuous employment.

Mandatory Union Dues - $6/week, $24/month. Mandatory one-time $176 union application fee. 12 paid holidays.
