**TIG Welder - 1st Shift, 4-Day Work Week** **Job Description** As a TIG Welder, you will be fabricating custom automation machinery and working with various ferrous materials. You will be responsible for fabricating parts using power tools, hand tools, and measuring parts with tape measures and blueprints. This role mainly involves MIG and TIG welding, with welds ranging from 16 gauge to 1 inch thick on mild steel and 18 gauge to 1/2 inch thick on stainless steel. **Responsibilities** + Fabricate custom automation machinery + Work with various ferrous materials + Fabricate parts using power tools, hand tools, and measuring parts using tape measure and blueprints + Perform MIG and TIG welding + Weld mild steel (16 gauge to 1 inch thick) and stainless steel (18 gauge to 1/2 inch thick) + Conduct pipe welding + Read and interpret blueprints + Utilize 3D models and ERP software on the computer **Essential Skills** + At least 2 years of welding experience + 5 years of fabrication experience + Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding + Experience welding mild steel (16 gauge to 1 inch thick) and stainless steel (18 gauge to 1/2 inch thick) + Custom fabrication experience in a job shop environment + Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints + Experience using hand and power tools (grinders, combination square, allen wrenches, screwdrivers, tape measure) **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a four-day workweek with 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday and additional hours as needed on Fridays.
