**TIG Welder/ Chamber Welding** **Paying $29.86** **Location - Clackamas, OR** **Details:** + Achieve team production and efficiency goals by working to meet all operational and quality standards to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. + Perform Tig welding to repair and salvage a wide variety of simple to moderately difficult castings with varied defects, except D357 alloys. + Ability to pass weld test plates certification test to be certified to work on aerospace castings. + Knowledge and ability to work with the majority of alloys produced by the plant and meet x-ray and zyglo standards. + Ability to determine the type and size of welding rod, tungsten electrodes and other variables. + Perform necessary routing and cleaning of defective areas prior to welding. Grinds and blends after welding to meet blueprint specifications. + Exercise care in welding to obtain proper penetration to avoid burning, inclusions, or other welding defects. **Qualifications:** + One to three years of manufacturing experience preferred, previous experience in the casting industry is a plus. **Shift:** + All Shifts Available, must be open to two out of three shifts on day, swing, and night. **Employee Value Proposition:** + Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, world leader in superalloy, aluminum and titanium investment casting.
