$36-$42/hr depending on experience

Job DescriptionTIG welders are responsible for the fabrication and welding of aerospace tubular, sheet metal, and casting engine components, comprised of stainless steel, Inconel, cobalt, and aluminum alloys.ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG welding on aerospace tubular, sheet metal, and casting engine components.Fabricate and weld components made of stainless steel, Inconel, cobalt, and aluminum alloys.Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate welding and fabrication.Complete weld tests in accordance with ASME Section IX standards.Ensure all welding work meets quality assurance and quality control standards.Essential SkillsProficiency in TIG welding techniques.Capability to pass ASME Section IX 2” 6G position weld test on schedule 40, 304 stainless steel pipe.Experience welding stainless steel and other aerospace materials.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Certification as a TIG welder.Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.Familiarity with X-Ray testing and quality assurance procedures.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team that values precision and quality in the aerospace industry.We offer opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive work environment.Work EnvironmentThis role is based on a construction jobsite, requiring adherence to safety standards and protocols.The work involves handling advanced welding technologies and materials, ensuring a challenging and rewarding work experience.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position that weld tests out of Richardson, Texas. The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $42.00
