Chart produces high quality manufactured products using radiography, vacuum mass spectrometry, and phased array ultrasonic testing. Chart complies with ASME, DOT, AAR, and EN pressure vessel codes. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG Welder to join our team, specializing in welding for complex cryogenic systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipe welding with stainless steel, adhering to the highest industry standards for precision and quality. **_What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…_** • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel pipes used in cryogenic systems. •Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications. •Ensure welds meet strict quality control and safety standards, particularly for cryogenic applications. •Operate and maintain welding equipment, including torches, gas systems, and other related tools. •Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance with project requirements. •Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during fabrication. •Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. **_Your Professional Experience Should Be…_** •Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience, preferably in pipe welding with stainless steel. •Ability to obtain and maintain TIG welding certifications (certifications encouraged). •Strong understanding of welding processes, metallurgy, and the behavior of stainless steel in demanding applications. •Proficiency with measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions and tolerances. •Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
