Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for TIG welding during the production of Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) Ion Pumps made of stainless steel. You will primarily work on butt welds and some piping, with the opportunity to learn and weld 20 different products and their custom variations using blueprints. This position offers growth potential from Welder I to Welder III.

ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG welding on stainless steel components.Produce high-quality butt welds and piping welds.Read and interpret blueprints to complete welding tasks.Learn and weld 20 standard products and custom variations.Execute short-run welds (average 3-10 parts per order).Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.Essential Skills2+ years of TIG welding experience on stainless steel.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) products.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our company is small, with approximately 40 employees. The production team consists of 25 people, and the welding team includes 6 members. We emphasize a collaborative and supportive culture. The work involves handling stainless steel materials, interpreting blueprints, and performing TIG welding tasks in a newly established facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00
