TIG Welder

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in advanced welding techniques, a passion for precision, and a team-oriented mindset. Your skills will contribute to projects that push the boundaries of aerospace manufacturing and ensure the highest quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform welding tasks using multiple welding methods, including NADCAP MIG & TIG welding, Laser welding, and Resistance Spot Welding, with a primary focus on TIG welding.
+ Work with stainless steel materials (.030" and .045") with precision and accuracy.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate welding processes, challenges, and solutions effectively.
+ Perform welding tasks in accordance with NADCAP standards, maintaining strict adherence to quality and safety protocols.
+ Accurately measure components using a variety of tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
+ Participate in the welding process of complex aerospace components while maintaining consistency and quality.
+ Train and mentor junior welders, sharing knowledge and best practices.
+ Understand that welding is not the only responsibility; other tasks may include machine shop duties such as working with CNC machines and manual lathes.
**Requirements:**
+ **Education:** Tech School diploma/certificate or equivalent experience.
+ **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of hands-on welding experience, with a strong emphasis on **TIG welding** .
+ **Material Expertise:** Experience welding stainless steel, specifically **.030" and .045"** gauges.
+ **Skills:** Strong manual dexterity and the ability to perform intricate welding techniques.
+ **Machine Shop Experience:** Familiarity with CNC machines and manual lathes is a plus.
+ **Physical Abilities:**
+ Ability to perform physical labor for up to **10 hours per day** with the capacity to lift up to **20 pounds** continuously.
+ Ability to work in a physically demanding environment that requires walking, standing, lifting, twisting, turning, pushing, and pulling.
+ **Team Player:** Must be adaptable and ready to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
+ **Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to read and speak English fluently.
+ **Testing:** Must successfully pass a practical welding test in both **MIG & TIG welding** disciplines.
**Pay Details:** $25.00 per hour
