**Job Description:**
As a TIG Welder, you will play a crucial role in producing precision welds that meet our high standards of quality. You’ll be responsible for reading blueprints and following detailed welding procedures to ensure each project is executed perfectly.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare all material surfaces for welding by removing any contaminants, including slag, rust, moisture, and grease.
+ Cut and deburr metal components accurately to specifications.
+ Conduct quality tests on welds to ensure compliance with customer requirements and specifications.
+ Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
**Essential Skills:**
+ 1-2 years of experience in TIG welding.
+ Completion of a technical or vocational school program with a focus on welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and understand welding symbols.
+ Proficient in welding sheet metal and metal cutting techniques.
+ Strong measurement skills, able to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
**Additional Skills and Qualifications:**
+ TIG welding expertise.
+ Ability to understand and apply fabrication and assembly techniques.
+ Proficient at interpreting schematics and technical drawings.

**Work Environment:**
You’ll work in a clean and organized smaller shop, supported by a tight-knit team of around 20 employees. While most work will be completed in-house, there will be occasional travel to customer locations for installations and hands-on experience. Our work week runs from Tuesday to Sunday, with Mondays off, totaling a 48-hour work week and allowing for a great work-life balance.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00
