**Job Title: Tig Welder** **Job Description** As a Tig Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components in the field to produce high-quality products. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values precision and craftsmanship. **Responsibilities** + Pass an ASME 6G 2" Carbon Steel GTAW Pipe Test. + Passing an ASME 6G 6” Carbon Steel SMAW Pipe Test is a plus. + Perform butt weld and socket weld of stainless-steel process piping (SCH 10, SCH 40, SCH 80 wall thickness) up to 2" diameter and butt-weld up to 8" diameter. + Conduct welding in various positions and heights, including using man lifts and scissor lifts. + Set up the welding rig based on the environment and material being welded. + Work in various industrial manufacturing facilities, requiring flexibility in clean and dirty environments. + Willing to work at least 40 hours per week with flexibility to work overtime as required, including potential night shifts. + Flexibility to perform tasks outside of the welding trade if welding is not available. **Essential Skills** + 2-5 years of previous experience in TIG welding, preferably in an industrial environment. + Ability to pass an ASME Section IX Pipe Test with X-Ray. + Familiarity with ASME codes and standards. + Familiarity with MIG welding and stick welding. + Flexibility to work in both clean (food-grade) and dirty (recycling facilities) environments. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with construction, steel, PVC, copper, and pipeline. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Proficiency in layout pipe, welding, and TIG welding. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
