TIG Welder & Fabrication Welder

Job Description:

Arnold Machine is looking for a Custom Fabrication Welder to join our team! In this role, you will be fabricating custom automation machinery, working with various ferrous metals. You will be utilizing MIG and TIG welding techniques to fabricate parts and weld components with a variety of thicknesses, including mild steel and stainless steel. Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate custom automation machinery and parts.MIG and TIG welding on mild steel (16 gauge to 1\" thick) and stainless steel (18 gauge to 1/2\" thick).Pipe welding (optional based on experience).Use power tools (grinders, combination squares, etc.) and hand tools (allen wrenches, screwdrivers, tape measure) to create and assemble machinery parts.Measure and cut parts using blueprints and tape measure.Utilize basic computer skills for viewing 3D models and working with ERP software.Adhere to safety and quality standards while working in a job shop environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES:

At least 2 years of welding experience and 5 years of fabrication experience.Proficient in TIG and MIG welding.Experience welding mild steel and stainless steel (mild 16 gauge to 1\" thick, stainless 18 gauge to 1/2\" thick).Custom fabrication experience in a job shop environment.Ability to read blueprints and measure parts using a tape measure.Experience using hand and power tools (grinders, combination squares, allen wrenches, screwdrivers).Basic computer skills for working with 3D models and ERP software.

Work Environment:

Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday - Thursday). Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
