**TIG Welder pay upto $35/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding thin stainless steel using TIG or heliarc techniques. You will be producing custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry. **Responsibilities** + Perform TIG welding on thin stainless steel for custom, short-run, prototype equipment. + Utilize MIG welding techniques as needed. + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate welding processes. + Maintain welder qualifications per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW in various positions. + Work on intricate welding processes using both hand and machine tools. + Develop complex fabrications to closely prescribed standards. + Use a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments. + Perform fixturing and set-up as required. **Essential Skills** + 7+ years of welding experience. + Strong math skills. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Welder qualifications per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW. + Experience in intricate welding processes. + Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments. + Ability to perform fixturing and set-up. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with food-grade welding. + Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). + Proficiency in wire feed welding techniques. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values continuous learning and skill development in a temperature-controlled environment.
