TIG Welder - Pipefitter
Job Description

Manufacturing facility in Rochester, NY is in search of a skilled welder and/or pipefitter to join their growing team!

Welders and pipe fitters will be working in a manufacturing environment along side mechanical maintenance personnel to repair, replace, and maintain equipment components and process piping. TIG welding of stainless and carbon steel as well as specialty metals will be required. Employees will complete pipefitting responsibilities and training will be provided if necessary.

ResponsibilitiesWill weld and/or fit various materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, specialty metals, etc.Thread and layout pipingMechanical repair and maintain processing equipment and building piping systems used in manufacturingAssist with building and facility preventative maintenanceEssential SkillsPrevious TIG welding and/or pipefitting experienceExperience with manufacturing equipment or in an industrial environmentPrevious HVAC experience beneficial but not mandatoryPneumatic and/or hydraulic maintenance experience beneficialAdditional Information

Employees will be working at one location with no travel required. All work will be indoors in a manufacturing environment in a team setting. Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, first shift with flexibility on start time.

Additional educational opportunities are available including on site training and off site classroom learning. Schooling will be paid for by the company with the successful completion of each course. Additional education will also warrant immediate wage increases. Apprenticeship courses also available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
