Job Summary We are seeking an entry level candidate for our order fulfillment team. This KBR location is at the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) facility in Anniston, AL. The successful candidate will be responsible for material handling in our overhaul operations conducted at the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) on the AGT1500 turbine engine. Perform multiple material handling assignments in support of our objective and interact with other team members, management, and customers. Roles and Responsibilities + Perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan + Perform material handling duties related to planning, receipt, storage, and issuance of all parts per the contractual requirement. Store, stack, or place materials on pallets, in accordance with prescribed storage methods. Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials. Examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage. Remove material from storage and prepare it for orders or shipment + Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing the required personal protective equipment. + Heavy lifting may be required + Perform other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent + Must be a US citizen to obtain clearance to work on the Anniston Army Depot. Must have a valid social security card, driver’s license, and birth certificate. Should requirements differ from contract/client specifications, contract/client qualifications will prevail Preferred Qualifications + Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word) + Prior material handling experience Pay Rate $17.50 Hourly Potential Work Schedule Hours of operations Mon-Thur 06:30am-6:00pm (additional hours from 4:00pm-6:00pm if scheduled to work). Fridays 06:30am - 6:00pm (additional hours from 3:00pm-6:00pm if scheduled to work), and all Saturdays 06:00am-6:00pm (additional hours from 2:30pm-6:00pm if scheduled to work).
