Senior Analyst, Americas Marketplace (Timberland Americas)
What will you do?
The Americas Marketplace Senior Analyst is part of a larger Americas Business Planning department that supports the commercial Go- to-Market (GTM) process for the Timberland brand across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The senior analyst will collaborate daily with key business stakeholders in planning, marketing, digital operations, and store operations to understand trends and performance results. The key focus of the role will be developing and distributing the reporting and analysis needed to drive business decisions. As a trusted member of the Americas Business Planning team, you will report to the Manager, Americas Marketplace Reporting and Analytics.
A day in the life of a Senior Analyst in the Timberland Americas Marketplace team looks a little like this.
Prepare analyses around daily, weekly, and monthly business trends for Timberland’s Direct to Consumer (DTC) and Wholesale businesses through robust key performance indicator (KPI) reporting by store and channels Perform variance analysis of KPIs versus last year and plan Analyze and report on the trends to management to support key business decision conversations Design, modify, and build new data processes to improve reporting and analysis Develop and maintain report documentation and training materials for the department to ensure adequate coverage while members of the team are away from the office Identify strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas for improvement Evaluate the results of key marketing initiatives, store promotions and ecommerce deals on a weekly basisWhat do you need to succeed?
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 2-3 years of experience and professional achievements. Experience in a multi-store retail environment is a plus.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
A required, must-have advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, Power Query and Power BI (business development). This includes experience in writing DAX queries and formulas. Understanding API feeds into Power BI a plus. Experience working in Business Intelligence reporting platform like Cognos, Business Objects or Equivalent tool. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. The ability to efficiently plan, organize and manage time. The capability of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Adeptness in demonstrating strong and effective written and verbal communication with all levels of the organization. Self-motivated with a positive attitude. A strong sense of curiosity and thirst for learning. Adaptable with innovation and innovative thinking while driving for results.There is also one skill that is not required but preferred.

Hiring Range:
$68,000.00 USD - $85,000.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
