Title: Timekeeping Administrator
Location: Lake Jackson, Texas

Salary: $51,800 - $81,815 plus additional bonus
Schedule: 9/80's or 5/8's

Focus: The Timekeeping Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s timekeeping system, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of employee work hours. This role involves validating, auditing, and troubleshooting time records to ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws. The Timekeeping Administrator will work closely with HR, Payroll, and department leaders to address and resolve any timekeeping discrepancies and ensure smooth payroll processing.

Timekeeping Administrator Essential Job Functions:

 Administer and oversee Texas Operations timekeeping system, including adding, updating, and removing employee profiles as needed, and ensuring the proper setup of work schedules, pay rules, and time-off accruals in the system.  Review and validate employee time entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and labor laws. Work with supervisors and managers to resolve any timekeeping discrepancies promptly. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws, including overtime and meal break regulations. Maintain accurate and organized records for audit purposes and ensure data integrity within the system. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee and supervisor inquiries related to timekeeping, including system access, punch corrections, and policy clarifications. Provide training and support to employees and managers on the use of the timekeeping system and company timekeeping policies.

Timekeeping Administrator Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree* in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred. 2+ years of experience in timekeeping, payroll administration, or a similar role.  Certification, such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), is a plus. Proficient in using timekeeping and payroll software; experience with Kronos and Workday is a plus.  Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and auditing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. May require occasional overtime during peak payroll processing times or year-end reporting.
