About the role

SIGN-ON BONUS - $2,000 (1/3 after 1 month, 1/3 after 6 months, 1/3 after 1 year)

Position Description:

This position offers the opportunity to work as part of a team.

Primary duties involve unloading, loading and processing drums of waste materials from trucks. Must be able to operate a computer. Operate light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to: pumps, heavy equipment, bobcats, etc., Works in atmospheres with the potential for exposure to the elements and various chemical and physical agents, some of which may be hazardous, toxic or corrosive.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Safety – you are expected to follow all established safety guidelinesUnloading Trucks – involves using forklifts, pallet jacks and drum cartsManaging paperwork for completeness and accuracy – involves using company waste tracking programQA/QC / Staging – requires you to open waste drum to ensure material matches approved profile and is able to be staged for processingProcessing Materials – involves using forklifts, industrial shredder & heavy equipment to process the material per approved outbound profile for final disposal

Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED preferred.Must be 18 years or olderMust have basic computer skills, good written and oral communication skills Ability to lift/move up to 50 poundsKneeling, crawling, stooping, bending or twisting for extended periods of timeWalking and/or standing and/or sitting for extended periods of timeWalking on elevated platforms or scaffolding
