Job Title: Tire Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire Technician to join our team. The primary responsibilities include changing and rotating tires on residential and commercial grade vehicles. Tire Technicians mount, dismount, repair, inflate, and service tires of all sizes for our customers both in-shop and via off-site service calls.

ResponsibilitiesChange and rotate tires on residential and commercial grade vehicles.Mount, dismount, repair, inflate, and service tires of all sizes.Perform oil changes and brake pad replacements.Use hand tools, power tools, and air tools effectively.Conduct tire rotations and ensure proper tire maintenance.Handle heavy lifting as required.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude and ability to use hand, power, and air tools.Experience with oil changes and brake pad replacements.Ability to perform heavy lifting.Relatively clean driving record within the past 3 years with a valid driver's license.Additional Skills & Qualifications6 months to 1 year of prior mechanical experience (preferred experience in tire techs, lube techs, or automotive experince).TIAC (Tire Industry Association Certification) and MCSN (Michelin & Commercial Service Network) certifications will be provided.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a smaller shop with a few bays, providing quick turnarounds. The shop doors remain open during the day, which can result in warmer conditions during the summer months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00
