The Communications Specialist/Coordinator is an entry-level to early-in-career position that will develop and execute a wide range of strategic and tactical communications (60% internal; 40% external) and employee engagement initiatives to support the company’s strategic objectives. Will also support creating a positive employment experience/corporate culture, and drive company brand/reputation to external audiences. Must be an exceptional writer, quickly able to identify, write, and publish content with minimal direction.
This person will play a key role through hands-on tactical implementation of a wide range of internal communications (company intranet content development and publishing) and management of service anniversary recognition and employee awards programs. External communications duties will center on social media content development, publishing, analysis, etc., as well as a support of sales enablement tools and content management.

Research, write, and publish intranet and mobile communications app content to inform and engage Neovia’s employees, ensuring that timely, accurate, and relevant content is consistently available Manage company-wide recognition programs (e.g., service anniversary program, employee and operations awards) and drive related communications requirements; contribute to ‘next-level’ enhancements and evolution of these programs Support content development and related requirements (presentations, promotion, etc.) for company town halls, leadership messages, engagement campaigns, etc.Communications – External
Emphasizing employer brand and reputation management, support social media content development and publishing by primarily repurposing/modifying internal communications-oriented content Support the development (identification, research, writing) of thought leadership content like case studies, success stories; drives the related external promotion and utilization of the material Support employee recruitment efforts through social media content and advertising campaign development, publishing, and analysis Supports management of the company website, including content identification and development to enhance capabilities and end user experience Support development and ongoing management of sales enablement tools, primarily customer presentation contentEmployee Engagement
Support the annual employee engagement survey design and deployment, communications, action planning and leader commitment process. Support the development of communications, events and programs to educate and engage leaders, managers and employees around Neovia’s desired culture and behaviors that support it. Support employee feedback on an ongoing basis through such avenues as company meetings, suggestions programs, pulse surveys, employee focus groups, etc. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English, communications or a related discipline 0-2 years of broad-based communications environment experience in a consulting, agency, or corporate role, including copywriting and content development, internal communications, ideally including employee, executive, and change communications, social and digital media content, and external communications. Experience with and/or a strong interest in employee engagement, employee experience, culture and employee programs. Experience developing and publishing digital content utilizing MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word; WordPress, Photoshop or related tools a plus Strong understanding of the role of digital tools (e.g., apps, social channels, websites, intranet) in communications Proven experience or strong interest in driving communications (and ideally, employee engagement) programs, projects and campaigns from concept through execution, with leadership support and guidance. Refined written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to swiftly shift approach based on audience and input Ability to perform well within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires the management of multiple projects at once, without compromising quality and service levels. Ability to maintain confidentiality of extremely sensitive data at all times. Must have strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills and pay specific attention to details.
