As a Manager of Blue XP IAM Engineering you will manage a variety of engineering services functions and ensure the timely, thorough, and accurate completion of all engineering services projects focused on the application of developed solutions for NetApp customers. The leadership position has accountability of Blue XP Manageability product which work on hosting valuable cloud services. This position serves an important cross-functional role between the Engineering department and other functions, and requires strong planning skills, methodical execution and people management skills; as well as a strong technical background required to support the function’s initiatives and project completion.
Your responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Engineering function with consideration given to product deliverables schedules, and staying within budgetary limits:
Thorough knowledge on Industry Authentication, Identity and access management. Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with peer managers in various departments such as QA, Software, Hardware, Engineering Programs, etc., to identify staffing, process, methodology issues and requirements needed to ensure the timely, thorough and accurate completion of all engineering projects. Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives and procedures to support goals. Work with Corporate groups on reporting requirements, processes, and operations solutions. Determine staffing requirements, and work with HR to oversee personnel processes including: selection, development, and evaluation of personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Utilize previously acquired technical experience in production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective development of products and services. Take responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing. Drive local and corporate best practices throughout the function to ensure consistent, high quality operations. Job Requirements Strong track record of delivering projects on Authentication, Identity and access management. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. A clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements and project management. Experience with developing budgets and predicting project costs. A demonstrated ability to partner with professional and management level employees across functions. Experience in partner management, operations, and project management. This position is responsible for managing many tasks within a large group or department. The focus of this role is on business and its implication. It is essential in having strong acumen on cloud, security and IAM is reuired. The potential impact of decisions made by this individual will be mostly operational with some financial. This individual will apply attained experience and knowledge to address issues that are diverse in scope, and resolve problems through short- and mid-term planning. This individual must work effectively with staff to vice president level employees and employees within and outside of their department and function. Utilizes people skills and available manager tools to positively impact the development of subordinates within their role and career. This individual must demonstrate favorable results through providing leadership to function and to staff. Education Minimum of 8+ years overall experience, including 2+ years of relevant people management experience required. A Bachelor of Science Degree or related field, or equivalent experience is required. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects is require.
