Senior Analyst Onboard Experience 

 

Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst Onboard Experience reports to the Manager Product Development and is responsible for enhancing the in-flight onboarding experience vision, including managing all soft product in both Mint and Core cabins. Being a leader in a cross-functional customer experience team, the Senior Analyst is the subject matter expert regarding business partner service level agreements and menu design, all onboard product offerings, and managing the catering performance management matrix. 

 

This individual is a member of the Commercial team that is dedicated to delivering the best possible product at a reasonable price to customers. The Senior Analyst is a customer-focused marketing professional who is skilled at building and maintaining relationships at all levels within and outside of the organization and excels in a matrix environment, can change priorities to meet business demands, and is able to influence others without authority. This self-motivated individual is entrepreneurial and exhibits the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun.

Essential Responsibilities:

Maintain and update business partner performance management matrix and monitor and communicate inflight crew comments to catering business partners. Identify new product opportunities and consumer trends/preferences that enhance the JetBlue brand. Develop proposals, budgets, and sell in ideas to senior leadership. Own Mint and Core menu matrix. Own and support all menu workshops. Ensure crews have product knowledge and a clear understanding of presentation procedures. Assists with menu design, development and pricing. Facilitates business partner incentive program(s). Manages all onboard beverage programs, including selection, inventory management, pricing, supply chain and all aspects of product implementations, wine inventory matrix and burn off program. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience Three (3) years of project management experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work Available for frequent overnight travel (30%) Able to work in a kitchen that may include allergens Ability to present to internal and external audiences, including senior leadership Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States Must pass a pre-employment drug test Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) Advanced skills in Excel and Access Experience developing and managing a budget Experience working on large-scale cross-functional teams Experience dealing and responding to customer and crewmember feedback Experience managing business partner relationships, including reviewing contracts Previous experience studying trends of onboard product preferences, partake in competitive flying Understanding of airline consumer behavior Demonstrating ability to use customer/crewmember feedback to enhance program/process/product

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is between $66,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
