Position Summary:
The Title IX Deputy Coordinator provides essential operational support in managing the university’s Title IX compliance efforts. This role focuses on intake, preliminary case management, and coordination of training logistics, allowing the Title IX Coordinator to lead strategic initiatives, complex case oversight, and policy development. The Deputy Coordinator also assists in managing cases related to pregnancy-related conditions and oversees the day-to-day operations of campus lactation spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Case Intake Management:Serve as the first point of contact for Title IX reports and complaints, conducting intake interviews, assessing needs, and coordinating responses to ensure supportive measures are implemented.Manage investigations for routine Title IX cases as assigned.Maintain detailed case records and ensure compliance with university policies and federal regulations.Training Coordination and Logistics:Coordinate the logistics and scheduling of mandatory Title IX training programs for employees, first-year students, and the university’s Title IX Team.Track training completion and handle initial follow-up for non-compliance.Support for Pregnancy and Related Conditions and Lactation Spaces:Provide operational case management for individuals seeking modifications due to pregnancy and related conditions, following established university policies.Oversee the operational maintenance and accessibility of campus lactation spaces.Campus Collaboration and Support:Develop strong partnerships with campus departments (e.g., Student Affairs, Human Resources, University Police) to coordinate case responses and resource referrals.Act as a liaison for operational support, ensuring timely communication and coordination of services.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience in Title IX or civil rights compliance.Skills:Knowledge of Title IX, VAWA, Clery Act regulations.Strong organizational skills and experience in case management.Ability to handle training logistics and collaborate effectively with diverse campus populations.
