Title Resolution Specialist

This position is responsible for managing the accuracy of Avis Budget Group’s asset records as well as distributing titling documents for dealer direct/auction sale transactions in the defleeting process. Efficiently work to resolve discrepancies with our titling documents to preserve our records inventory. Communicate with various state’s Department of Motor Vehicles as well as investigating abnormalities in the department’s routine processes to maintain a high output of accurate and quality work. Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on assignment.

What you’ll do:

Generate daily dealer direct & auction sale title reportsFacilitate proper titling signage and ship to buyers/auctionsAnalyze discrepancies in asset documents and/or processes for solutionCommunicate with various internal & external business contacts to collect factsUtilize online resources to investigate further and determine course of actionObtain and/or generate necessary business documents to facilitate correctionsMaintain detailed record of correspondence and actions taken in company databaseReport origin of discord to leadership teamFollow-up consistently and provide weekly status updatesInvestigate atypical exceptions to resolve obstacleFulfill requests for titling related documentsAffidavits of Correction, Odometer Statements, Lien Releases, title copies, etc.Cross-train to assist in other department duties related to title work and processingMaintain professional and courteous relationship with internal and external customersProfessional Handling of company asset documentsProfessional usage of business machines - PC, printer, scanner, phone, fax, copier, etc.Communication - develop and expand Internal & External business contactsReport issues to immediate superiors, dept PLUS member for IT/system related issues, DMV business relationships, ABG field personnel, Sales team, Auction contacts, Fleet processing & Retail Sales associates

 What we’re looking for:

High school diploma/GED requiredExcellent PC skills (MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook) macro knowledge preferred3-5 years data entry experience, established customer service skillsExcellent data entry skills, multi-tasking, and organizational skillsGood verbal and written communication skills requiredSound critical thinking, analytical and decision making skillsMust be able to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented work environment
