Hourly base pay rate is $19.13 - $28.65/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Review titles for negotiability, sign and reassign titles for sellers and buyers.Complete application for new title on behalf of clients as needed.Complete repossession affidavits as needed.Complete affidavit of corrections as needed.Answer communications from all clients on title questions and issues to resolution, escalating if necessary.Troubleshoot and resolve title issues on behalf of all clients according to state specific title requirements.Communicate effectively with BMV/DMV agencies.Monitor aging of titles following departmental procedures and policies.Process documents received from clients to complete title follow-up.Assess and determine proper outcomes for title release requests.Post charges to unit for workSubmit check requests for work through Oracle

Qualifications:

Minimum:

High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience.OR 5 years’ experience in a related fieldPrevious vehicle title experience and title handling.Must have strong organizational skills and be very detail oriented.Ability to type and use 10-key proficiently required.Effective communication skills and strong customer service attitude is required.Ability to recognize title brands and other relevant notations related to titles is a requirement.Willingness to become an New Jersey Notary is desired
