Job Summary

Title Examiner analyzes information provided from multiple sources to produce reports required to transfer ownership of real estate. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate multi-state title products. Maintain knowledgebase of state, underwriter and county requirements Examine county records for residential properties in multiple states. Review of title search reports to real property to establish chain on title and commitment requirements. Verify information in the title search and accompanying documentation for accuracy Resolve any issues such as missing information, incomplete, inaccurate, or contradictory information contained in the title documentation Abstract and analyze deeds, deeds of trust/mortgages, easements, judgments, tax assessments, judgments, and other applicable instruments Prepare title commitments, closing protection letters, and title insurance policies according to state and underwriter requirements Deliver title products to division and/or lender through production software Assist with special projects as requested and perform additional duties as required.
