THE WORK
The TLS Enterprise Excellence (EE) Lead is responsible for facilitating and supporting continuous process improvement across programs by leveraging Black Belt (BB) and Green Belt (GB) expertise in the deployment of Lean Six Sigma. Process improvement examples may include Structured Improvement Activities, Excellence Planning, Digital Transformation, Diagnosing Unwanted Outcomes (DUO), Failure Review Boards (FRBs), Root Cause and Corrective Actions, Fault Tree Analysis, Lessons Learned, Hack the Bureaucracy, RMS Affordability Network (RAN) and 1LMX. This position will report to the RMS Enterprise Excellence Lead and dotted lined to the LOB Enterprise Performance Director. The LOB Enterprise Excellence Lead will work closely with Executive Leadership, corporate Subject Matter Experts (SME) and the Master Black Belt community in developing and translating strategy into actionable improvement events/projects. This position may also, at times, interface with external customers on events such as Program Partnering Workshops and FRBs. May be requested to develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of problem-solving skills, ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness. Directly responsible for coaching and developing individual BB and GB, certification authority for new BBs and GBs, facilitating RMS-wide or high impact business and program improvement events, establishing dashboard metrics, coordinating across the various continuous improvement/transformation initiatives, training leaders, team members and future GBs and BBs to deliver key business results. This individual will demonstrate a high degree of commitment to personal excellence and the ability to partner across functional and program domains to achieve consensus and alignment, while leveraging best practice solutions across the Enterprise. Position will support multiple geographical locations with moderate travel.

Basic Qualifications:
-Certified Black Belt or Master Black Belt with extensive Lean Six Sigma experience
-Proven ability to apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies
-Strong communication and project management skills
-Experience preparing and delivering out-brief packages and skilled in facilitating projects and events across all organizational levels, including VPs and senior staff
-Demonstrated financial acumen; a collaborative team player and proactive self-starter
Desired Skills:
-Promotes a culture of continuous improvement
-Previous experience within the TLS line of business
-Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams; project management and program experience preferred
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
