Riley Crossing is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Registered/TMA to support our residents in our Senior Living facility located in Chanhassen, MN. This role is responsible for providing resident care and services including administration of medication under the direction of the nurse.
This part-time patient support position includes;

Opened in 2019, it hosts 134 units of Independent/Assisted Living, Enhanced and Memory Care in total. This location also offers on-site intergenerational child care and interactive programming with our seniors.

Responsibilities/Job Description Assists resident with personal cares based on individual plan of care (bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, nail care, dressing , showers and answers and responds to call lights)Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff in a clear, concise mannerPerforms environmental and other responsibilities as assignedMaintain order and cleanliness in residents rooms and other work areasAssists with admissions, transfers, and discharges as neededAdministers medications and treatments as delegated and supervised by a licensed nurseFollows all shift routines regarding measuring of vital signs, weights, and administration of medications and treatmentsDispenses meds using the right route, medication, resident time, and doseMaintains an awareness of actual and potential side effects, adverse reactions, contraindications and purposes of medicationsAlerts nurse prior to administration of a PRN medicationMaintains a clean medication cartPerforms other duties as requested QualificationsRequired:
Nursing Assistant CourseActive on MN Nursing Assistant registryCompletion of required training and meet the state requirements for medication adminstration with a TMA Certificate from the State of MNPreferred:
