Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Tool and Die Machinist responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of production tooling, stamping, forming, and cutting die sets, as well as assembly and welding tooling jigs and fixtures. This role is crucial to supporting manufacturing operations and ensuring production goals are met to satisfy customer demand.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble, fit, and repair tools to ensure efficient production and high-quality parts.Monitor tools used in manufacturing to ensure efficient run rates and identify necessary repairs or possible improvements.Address part quality issues associated with tooling design, maintenance, and repair.Attend machine breakdowns to identify the root cause and solve the problem.Produce specialized components to support production.Essential Skills & QualificationsExperience with tool and die, drill press, blueprint reading, grinding, and manual machining.Proficiency in using manual mills and lathes.Familiarity with shop drawings, shop math, measuring instruments, hand tools, and material handling equipment.Must be fully mobile with complete use of both arms and legs.Capable of standing for prolonged periods and lifting objects weighing up to 70 pounds.Must have good visual ability.Direct Benefits Medical, dental & visionCritical Illness, Accident, and Hospital401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions availableLife Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)Short and long-term disabilityHealth Spending Account (HSA)Transportation benefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramTime Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
