Volt is hiring Tool & Die Makers for our client in Moscow, IA.

\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPosition Details\r\n\r\n\r\n\tShift: 1st shift (7 AM - 3:30 PM), with overtime opportunities\r\n\tDays: Monday - Friday\r\n\tPay Rate: $30 - $40 per hour\r\n\tScreenings: No background check, Drug screen required\r\n\tDress Code: Jeans, T-shirt, and work shoes\r\n\tPay Rate: $30-$40 per hour\r\n\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tOperating manually controlled machine tools (lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, and jig grinders), power tools (die grinders and rotary tools), and hand tools (files and honing stones).\r\n\tReading and interpreting blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings.\r\n\tVisualizing and computing metal shapes and tolerances.\r\n\tDesigning jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of parts.\r\n\tMeasuring and marking metal stock for machining.\r\n\tSetting up machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines.\r\n\tCutting and shaping blocks to specified dimensions.\r\n\tFilling, grinding, and shimming metals to ensure a smooth finish.\r\n\tFitting and assembling tools and die parts.\r\n\tInspecting finished dies and tools for defects, smoothness, and contour deformities.\r\n\tConducting test runs with completed tools and dies.\r\n\r\n\r\n

What We're Looking For:
