**Job Title: Tool and Die Maker** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker who will be responsible for the repair, build, and maintenance of progressive tungsten carbide lamination stamping dies and metal forming dies. This role involves ensuring compliance with production standards and safety regulations to produce the highest quality parts. **Responsibilities** + Reading and interpreting blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings. + Visualizing and computing metal shapes and tolerances. + Designing jigs and templates as supports in the fabrication of parts. + Setting up machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines. + Cutting and shaping blocks to specified dimensions. + Grinding carbide and steel to ensure a smooth finish. + Assembling and disassembling tools and die parts to support production areas and ensure timely repairs to maintain continuous production and increase plant productivity. + Inspecting tools and dies for defects, performing repairs, and conducting test runs with completed tools and dies. + Supporting tooling efficiency improvement and scrap reduction projects. + Following Standard Operating Procedures for die repairs. + Entering data into SAP. **Essential Skills** + Tool and die making + Blueprint reading + Tooling + Machining + Lathe operation + Die repair + Repair skills + Milling + Grinding + Micrometer usage + Manual machining + Die maintenance + Toolroom experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with manual mills and lathes + Skills in manual machine operation + Experience in die making + Open to candidates from technical schools such as Ranken, looking to grow their skills and career **Why Work Here?** Join a company with a great culture and clear directions on how to be successful.
