**Tool and Die Maker - 1st shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker for the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up milling fixtures and tooling according to work instructions, building and repairing molds and machining fixtures, troubleshooting tooling and wax injection molds, and implementing process improvements to reduce setups and run times. The candidate should also be able to read and comprehend blueprints and work instructions, set up and operate 3-axis CNC mills, and operate Bridgeports, manual lathes, and surface grinders. **Responsibilities** + Set up milling fixtures and tooling according to work instructions + Build and repair molds and machining fixtures + Troubleshoot tooling and wax injection molds + Implement process improvements to reduce setups and run times + Read and comprehend blueprints and work instructions + Set up and operate 3-axis CNC mills + Operate Bridgeports, manual lathes, and surface grinders **Essential Skills** + Journeyman T&D Maker Certification or 8+ years of equivalent experience + Set up and operation of 3-axis CNC mills + Operation of Bridgeports, manual lathes, and surface grinders + Direct Tool & Die experience working on tooling + Blueprint reading **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of GD&T protocols + Experience in machining, tooling repair, die making, and grinder operation **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr. o Safety boot reimbursement o Overtime available o PTO – 3 weeks for high level – 2 weeks for 3-5 years o Bescast will reimburse your COBRA coverage if enrolled ($400.00 after you have paid directly to the provider) until you are eligible to participate in the Bescast benefit program (1st day of the month following your initial 60-days of employment). o Group Medical, Dental & Vision coverage o Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment o Short and Long-Term Disability o Accident & Critical Illness o 401(k) Plan **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Willoughby,OH. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Mar 6, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
