Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

Job Description

Since 1946, a full-service production CNC machine shop has crafted various metal parts for a wide and diverse customer base that includes agriculture, construction, off-road highway trucking, forestry, mining, and other industries around the world. The purpose of this non-supervisory position is to perform all duties of a Toolmaker and perform other tasks as assigned or requested.

ResponsibilitiesManufacture and assemble fixture and tooling components to achieve estimated rates.Perform required maintenance of fixtures and tooling as needed or requested.Sharpen cutting tools as needed or requested.Perform rework on non-conforming parts.Submit fixtures, tooling, or parts to inspection for verification.Perform manual machining operations on job orders including manufacture of prototypes.Set up and run CNC mills.Proficient in CNC setup and operation.Essential SkillsMachiningLatheMillManual latheManual millAdditional Skills & QualificationsWelding preferred but not necessaryExperience with CNC setup and operationWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

3rd Shift: 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. (25% Premium). Plenty of overtime available, though not mandatory. Busy environment with work orders set through 2025. The shop is well-lit but on the dirtier side.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
