Adecco is currently assisting a great client in their search for a **Tool and Model Maker 1st Shift** in **Mayville, WI** . **Type:** DIRECT HIRE / Permanent Placement **Start Date:** Within two to three weeks. **Pay:** $ 26.28 **Hours** : 6am to 2:30pm with overtime available; M-F Responsibilities for the **Tool and Model Maker** role include: Construct, modify, install, repair, and maintain all tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and sample products to support Manufacturing, Engineering and Sales. Set-up, adjust and operate various manual lathes, mills, drill presses and grinders to produce parts to the required tolerances. Must have the ability to perform diversified machining operations, prescribe operational sequences and procedures to manufacture parts to specifications. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** + Must be able to read and understand blueprints and produce parts from the information obtained from the blueprints within required tolerances. + Responsible for the quality of the parts they produce and perform first-piece inspection, as well as subsequent inspections, to ensure overall quality. + Responsible for taking care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area clean and neat. + Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding. + Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety Qualifications for this **Tool and Model Maker** role: + Completed High School Diploma or GED. + Must have excellent attendance. + 1-3 Years Experience Tool/Model/Die Making Experience REQUIRED + 1-3 Years Manufacturing Machinery Experience REQUIRED + Possess and be able to use micrometers and dial calipers to ensure the quality of the parts being produced. Must be equipped with all required tools to perform the functions of their job. + Ability to use common hand tools. + Ability to read drawing instructions. + Ability to stand for approximately 8 hours per day. + Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. **Pay Details:** $26.28 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
