**Job Title: Tool Room Assistant** **Job Description** Position will assist/support Tool Room Technicians in all tool room activities ranging from cleaning of molds to maintaining perishable tooling and dies. The role requires working as part of a team responsible for producing quality workmanship in an efficient and safe manner. **Hours:** Hours: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday-Friday **Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour based off experience** **Responsibilities** + Perform light preventative maintenance and changeovers on tools used for production per given PM schedule. + Responsible for Tool Room upkeep, and practicing orderly and safe measures following 5S principles. + Active involvement in process improvement activities and individual suggestion program. + Assist in other activities as assigned by lead Tooling Manager. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of working in an Injection Molding tool room environment or vocational schooling equivalent. + Experience with Manual Mill, Manual Lathe, and Drill Presses. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3-7 years of experience in a tool room environment. + Experience working in a plastics (Extrusion) environment. + Mold assembly & maintenance. + Tooling maintenance. + Have a TMA certificate. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Life, Dental, Vision, and 401K.
