Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Tool and Die Maker to join our team in San Antonio, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
Fabricate, repair, and maintain various tools, dies, and fixtures used in the manufacturing processInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create precise tooling componentsOperate manual machining equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, and grindersUtilize measuring instruments, both in the shop and out on the aircraft, to ensure accuracy and quality of workCollaborate with engineers and other team members to develop innovative solutions for tooling needsPerform inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and standardsAssist with aircraft structures III work, including assembly, installation, and repair tasks as neededFabrication of aircraft partsThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option (San Antonio, TX).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 + years of experience as a Machinists or Tool Maker5 + years of experience operating manual mill and manual lathe machines5 + years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications5 + years of experience working with precision measuring toolsAbility to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workloadPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Knowledge of aircraft structures III and related processesAbility to work on aircraft structures III tasks as requiredStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailRelocation:

Summary Starting Pay Rate: $68,640 annually / $33.00 an hour
Additive Pay: $1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification
$1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification
