Join us as a Tool & Die Maker IV in our Moorpark, CA facility. 

 

You will… Provide support in the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations such as machining, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly, and material handling.

 

 

 What’s in it for you? 

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $48.00 - $54.00. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. 

· 11 paid holidays each year 

· 2 weeks of paid vacation to start (accrued weekly), and prorated based on hire date

More details about the opportunity: 

· CNC Programming using Mastercam or Cimatron. SolidWorks is a plus

· Fits and assembles parts to fabricate and repair Injection Molds, in-line assembly tools and production fixtures/aides.

·  Ability to read CAD drawings.

·  Cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools

·  Studies prints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools, mold components, assembly tools or fixtures.

·  Perform 5S duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

· CNC programming using Mastercam or Cimatron

· Develops resolution of problems of limited scope following standard procedures

· Good knowledge of all equipment used to fabricate and repair Injection Molds, including EDM machines.

· Under general supervision; ability to exercise judgment in line with an established process

· Ability to design and develop new tools and dies using software.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

·  Minimum High School Diploma or equivalence

·  Minimum 5+ years Tool & Die Making experience

 

Position hours/shifts: 1st shift

·  Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

·  In order to accommodate the needs of our business, it may be necessary to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.
