Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of new and rental products. Perform functional tests on piece parts. Perform inspection of assemblies. Perform visual inspection of components and assemblies in accordance with applicable documents. Work with customer inspectors to examine products. Assist engineering and operations in investigating product failures. Assist outside suppliers with problems related to subcontracted parts. Assist in the training of other personnel as required. Perform simple calibrations and maintain records for various tools, instruments, and gauges used in the manufacturing and inspection processes. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED required 1 - 3 Years Experience is requiredTECHNICAL SKILLS
Familiar with, and knowledgeable in the use of, the typical measuring tools used for mechanical inspection such as dial calipers, micrometers, hardness testers, optical contour projectors, hard gauges, and Gage maker Mic-Trac system. Familiar with current health, safety & environmental (HSE) training as per division training matrix (Including regulatory and SES required courses). Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safe operations. Knowledge of computer hardware and software such as Microsoft Word and Excel, including programming used for Quality Control and Inspection activities. Applicable PPE is required to complete assigned tasks. Must have a working knowledge of high school mathematics. Familiar with Quality Systems and requirements. Familiarity with manufacturing of oil field-related products and Specifications. Reading and understanding specifications and other work-related documents. Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and recommend solutions. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. Must be able to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, schematics, diagrams, sketches, and/or specifications.BEHAVIORAL ABILITIES
