JOB SUMMARY: MSI seeks a Tool Inventory Control Coordinator to be responsible for all tool inventory, monitoring, repairs, and support for field and warehouse tooling needs. This role involves collaborating with various departments to help ensure timely availability and proper maintenance of tools.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ensure that all tools and equipment are available and are properly maintained and in good working condition. Maintain computer database related to tool inventory Coordinate and process the requisition and procurement of tools Be involved in the order cycle for inventory and associated information systems Responsible for receiving, stocking, and issuing tools and equipment. Performs routine physical inspections and inventory checks. Coordinate tool repairs Collaborate with other department leads to identify tool needs. Maintain accurate records of all tooling activities and prepare reports as needed. Ensures safe work practices and adheres to safety rules/policies. Physically, workers must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time; ability to lift 50 pounds; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and climb up and down ladders and see (naturally or with correction).

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in warehouse, tool inventory, control policies, processes, and procedures. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. HVAC knowledge is a plus. Good verbal, written communication, and organizational skills with a can do attitude and enjoys working with others.
