**Job Title: Tool Maker (Open to an Apprentice w/ no experience) $25-$35/hr** Please feel free to click apply and will be followed up with a phone call to talk through any additional questions!!! **Job Description** Candidates will be running manual machines for a custom machine builder company. You may occasionally run a CNC machine, but the majority of your time will be spent operating manual machines to create one-off parts. Training will be provided. You should be comfortable working with your hands and getting dirty, and you will be measuring parts using micrometers and calipers. **Responsibilities** + Operate manual machines to create custom parts + Occasionally operate CNC machines + Measure parts using micrometers and calipers + Work with hand and power tools + Interpret and work from blueprints **Essential Skills** + Experience with hand and power tools + Machine operation skills + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Toolmaking experience + Basic CNC operation skills + Manual machining skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of using a wrench + Comfortable with hands-on and dirty jobs + Willingness to learn + Experience with CNC machines is a plus + Manual machining experience is a plus + Having own tools is a plus **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the flexibility and family feel of the company once hired on.
