Production Supervisor
Your role and responsibilitiesThe Tool Room is responsible for the modification, fabrication and repair of various types of tools, parts and equipment to keep production continuous on the shop floor across several different departments. As a tool room machinist, you will be responsible for:Executing assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelinesMaintaining safe working attitude and environment in the performance of daily activitiesConducting shop floor operations in compliance with health and safety guidelines and reports and non-complianceRepairing and replacing injection mold fixtures and componentsFabricating custom designs based on drawings
Qualifications for the roleHigh school diploma or equivalent2-5 years of experience with set-up and operation of manual mills and lathes or CNC Ability to read and interpret blueprintsGood communication skills both written and verbalAbility to follow fabrication plan with minimal supervisionAbility to identify and properly use various inspection tools to verify that parts are being fabricated to blueprint specificationsCNC Machining experience is preferredKnowledge of injection molding operations a plus but not required
