What you'll do as a Tool Room Machinist:

The Toolroom Machinist will be responsible for working in a high-precision tooling environment, where they will program, set up, and operate various types of Toolroom equipment to fabricate tooling components based on CAD models.

Toolroom Machinist II Responsibilities:

Program WEDMSet up WEDMOperate WEDMSurface grind to required tolerancesPerform WEDM maintenanceAccurately complete paperwork related to the components being produced






Work Experience

Qualifications for Toolroom Machinist:

Technical degree or comparable experience5 years of experience in machining precision partsDevelop programs for WEDM using Esprit CAM softwareSet up WEDM machines to run CAM-generated programs and produce components according to print specificationsSet up and use toolroom measurement equipmentPerform surface grinding to meet required tolerancesProficient in 3D CAD software, with a focus on SolidWorks

Preferred Qualifications for Toolroom Machinist:

Expertise in Mastercam, Esprit, and SolidWorksExperience in medical device manufacturingProficient in learning and navigating various NC machine interfaces (e.g., Fanuc, Agie, Charmilles, Accurite)Strong foundational knowledge of Lean principles and toolroom process flow
