Purpose:
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plastic injection molds in order to meet production requirements and molded part quality. Provide support to other departments to improve performance and efficiency of the process.
Main Responsibilities:
Repair, modify, and service high precision plastic injection molds and related tooling. OEE (overall equipment efficiency) KPI within Operate Tool Room machines, including mills, grinders, lathes, drill presses, etc.-Study blueprints to determine material dimensions, required equipment, and operations sequences.
-Provide support to other departments in order to resolve quality and production problems.
-Record specifications, production operations, and final dimensions of tools for use in establishing operating standards target goal and procedures.
-Protect intellectual property and confidential information.
-Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety
Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.Education/Skills:
