Job Description
This position is for a Tool Runner who will be responsible for pulling orders and delivering supplies and tools to various construction sites in the local bay area that are working with PG&E. The role involves working inside an industrial warehouse, maintaining an inventory of tools, and delivering them to construction sites. The Tool Runner will operate a computer for communication and inventory tracking.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver tools to construction/job sites in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.Follow safety principles and use PPE when handling tools and on construction locations.Interact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.Complete side work and other duties as assigned, taking initiative as needed.Maintain inventory of tools in the warehouse.Operate a standard sit-down forklift to load heavy tools onto trucks.Operate a computer to communicate via email and print out picking orders.Pick and load orders onto trucks for delivery to construction sites.Essential SkillsBasic knowledge of hand and power tools.Ability to operate a standard sit-down forklift.Proficiency in using a computer for email communication and inventory tracking.Ability to load and unload tools and supplies, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day.Driving and loading/unloading trucks.Why Work Here?
