**Job Title: Tool Technician** **Job Description** Individuals in this role will be responsible for the tooling and dies for the roll forming and other machines on the production floor. They will ensure that all preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and bench work for the dies are handled during the 2nd shift. **Responsibilities** + Perform bench work, including surface grinders, manual Bridgeport, CNC Mill, radio drill, and wet grinders. + Troubleshoot dies and ensure production continues to run smoothly. + Fix broken punches. + Work on bender machines and secondary presses (800 tonnage). + Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure 2nd shift runs efficiently. + Set clearances, cut off dies, prenotches, and cut off blades on roll mill. + Use a crane when necessary. **Essential Skills** + Tool and die experience + Machining + Troubleshooting + Tool & Die Benching + Lathe operation + Blueprint reading + Repair and maintenance + CNC and manual mill operation + Stamping and die maintenance + Welding + Progressive die handling + Grinding + Manual lathe operation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Stamping experience preferred + Willingness to learn benders if no prior experience + Team player **Why Work Here?** We offer great starting pay, opportunities for growth within the company, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental, health, vision, and life insurance. While the environment can be dirtier, efforts are being made to improve the facility's appearance and functionality.
